Apple Butter Caramel Sauce

This apple butter caramel sauce is delicious on pancakes, waffles, or ice cream. It also makes a great dipping sauce for fresh apple slices.

Ingredients
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup Bauman’s Apple Butter
Directions
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add brown sugar and heavy cream and whisk until sugar is dissolved.
- Increase heat to medium, bring to a boil, and allow to boil for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool for about 15 minutes. Add apple butter and whisk to combine.
- Serve over pancakes, waffles, ice cream, or as a dipping sauce for apple slices. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week and warm before serving.
